Onto the capital of Wales, Cardiff. After check in to our 4* hotel in Cardiff, we enjoy the remainder of  today at our leisure. Cardiff Bay was extensively refurbished in the 1990’s. With 45 known nationalities living side by side, the area was previously known as Tiger Bay. Dame Shirley Bassey once resided here.


Tuesday morning we explore Cardiff Castle, situated in central Cardiff, on a guided tour. Surrounded by Bute Park Arboretum it is renowned likewise for medieval classic castle remains and the Victorian Gothic revival mansion. Subsequently we take in The Mumbles, most importantly a historic area of outstanding natural beauty, as we travel via Swansea. The local pier and old disused train station are well worth a visit. After a sedate drive to the walled seaside town of Tenby we check in at our 4* hotel. Remainder of today is at your leisure. The walled city of Tenby provides a great array of eating establishments and shops well worth seeing.


Wednesday we take a boat ride to the nearby Caldey Island for a couple of hours visit. On Caldey Island is an Abbey, owned and inhabited by monks. From the lighthouse on a clear day moreover one can see Lundy Island, which by boat is 45 minutes away.  After that, a guided tour of Tenby starts at 3pm and lasts about one hour. The evening is yours to enjoy the Victorian Promenade, sandy beaches, the city walls or simply relax. The port is busy in Tenby and the views from Tenby Castle are beautifully scenic.


Thursday we travel onto St Davids in Pembrokeshire, the smallest city in the UK. At the bottom of the near pedestrianised High Street is a recently refurbished Gateway portal. Enter and in front of you appears the grand Cathedral! Beyond are the remains of the Bishop’s Palace that once stood adjacent with splendid vistas. Above all, embrace this tiniest of UK cities. After that, we set off on our return leg and an overnight in Bristol, the capital of the South West UK. After a check in at our 4* hotel, the evening is free to explore a bustling Bristol. Enjoy!



In the morning we visit Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s masterpiece, the SS Great Britain. She is back in Bristol from whence she once came. This sees our Tour draw to a close as we set ‘sails’ for London. Estimated arrival time to Lancaster Gate Hotel is 4 pm on Friday where in conclusion this Tour ends.

Services / accommodations are subject to the laws and regulations of the UK & the EU where applicable. We are not responsible for any luggage or personal effects of any individual participating in the tours/trips. Every traveller is responsible for their own travel insurance policy. We confirm Your reservation on receipt of a GB£350 deposit. Full payment to be received 90 days before departure date.

• If cancellation notified between 60 and 30 days prior to departure – GB£900.
• Should you cancel by notification within 30 days prior to and on day of departure – GB£1250.

Cancellations must be made in writing to us. In extreme circumstances, at our discretion, a refund may be obtained.


We shall do everything reasonably possible to provide your Tour as planned and described but reserve the right to alter hotels and/or itineraries for whatever reason and without prior notification. We reserve the right to refuse to carry any person whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offence or upset to other passengers. In such a case, full cancellation charges apply and we shall have no further liability to that passenger.


One suitcase/bag of maximum 20 kilos and one carry-on bag per person. Luggage is carried free of charge at the passenger’s own risk.

Force Majeure.

If we cancel the tour due to circumstances beyond our control, before departure, we will refund all money paid. We will NOT compensate you for the loss of the Tour. Where the Tour is interrupted to a significant extent by circumstances beyond our control we will refund what is deemed to be a fair proportion of the cost of the Tour at our discretion.
